Aydin Kapancik graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Cinema and Television Department in 2006. In the same year, he went to Czechia, where he went with the Erasmus program, and studied cinema at the art school FAMU.In 2010, he joined the documentary channel beIN Iz Tv/Sarkuteri Production team as a cinematographer. Until 2019, he took part in over one hundred television documentaries and corporate promotional films that prepared for Turkey's well-established companies.
Aydın Kapancık also directed the independent documentary films Tomorrow Was Another Day, Storm and Lost Homeland. These films were screened in many festivals and won awards.
He moved to London in 2019. In the same year, he prepared the documentary of the architectural restoration project named Tamirevi, supported by the British Council and Edinburgh World Heritage. He continues to film TV programs, promotional videos, social media videos, documentaries and short films.
