I work as an independent filmmaker, director, cinematographer and editor in Karachi, Pakistan. I mostly work with local and international companies, brands and NGOs which cover a wide range of subjects and styles: mini documentaries, short narratives, fashion films and photography, awareness campaigns and corporate videos. I have also won a few awards at festivals like, ARY Film Festival, ZAB Media Fest etc, and a film which I collaborated on was selected and screened at Cannes Film Festival in 2016. In Search of the Lost Gender (Trailer)
In Search of the Lost Gender, is a short documentary which tells the story of two transgender women Gogi and Reema, residing in Karachi, Pakistan. This mini documentary won Best Documentary Award at ZAB Media Festival (SZABIST) in 2016. I worked as a director, dp and editor in this project.

In Search of America, Inshallah
This short film is about a Pakistani woman who travels to America to find her husband. It was written and directed by Danish Renzu and was mostly shot in LA. The film bagged many awards around the globe as well as selected for Cannes Film Festival in 2017. Famous Indian singer, Sonu Nigham, was also a part of this project and did the narration. I was hired by the local production manager, Talha Hassan, as an additional director of photography to shoot a scene in Karachi, Pakistan.

Alkaram Winter Wandering
Alkaram, a fashion clothing brand, presents Winter Wandering in the beautiful valley of Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan. This travel fashion film shows scenic views and amazing weather of this beautiful city and models wearing brand's winter clothing collection. In this project I worked as a main fashion photographer as well as an additional DP. I also edited the first cut of this fashion video.
