Specialized programs for people living with early-onset dementia are almost non-existent. Most dementia services cater to people in their 80s or 90s who are retired and often have multiple health conditions. But people with early-onset are physically fit, have mortgages to pay and young children to care for. One Vancouver organization has created a community to support this neglected group.
