About

Born and raised in the high desert of Southwest Wyoming, Mark has been making documentaries for the last 15 years about subjects ranging from a Trona mine 2000 feet underground, mountain biking across the Red Desert, the origin story of Pilates, energy production, and WWII. His films have won awards at festivals worldwide, and secured distribution with major networks. He holds an MFA in Producing from USC, MA in Communication and Journalism from UW, and a BA in Film Production from DePaul. Mark splits his time between Wyoming and Los Angeles where he consults for the Sundance Institute Episodic Program.
