The Fountain House Gallery & Studio was founded in 2000 by and for artists living with serious mental illness who are members of Fountain House. The Studio, located in Long Island City, is a collaborative workspace that furthers the professional practice of our artists.

Having inherited a dilapidated post-Soviet housing stock, the Baltic States have developed their own mechanisms for addressing emergency housing. Pan-European values, such as human safety and a comfortable environment, are key considerations when addressing this issue. How can these values be implemented in practice, especially in the case of typical Khrushchev-era buildings? Lithuania has developed a notably effective approach to the timely management of dilapidated housing.
