Request QuoteJust call me a termagant...an aging visual storyteller who just can't seem to give it up. I began in the film era shooting 16mm single and double system and moved on through Umatic 3/4, Beta, DVC Pro and then into the digital era. Storytelling is in my DNA. After re-inventing myself several times I'm now focusing on longer form and more complex stories. While I can handle quick turnaround and breakers, my preference is to embrace a story and get to know the characters and the issues. I guess you'd call it long slow news.

The beacon on Mt. Diablo in California was originally placed to aid aircraft navigation in the San Francisco Bay area. It was shut down after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 and remained dark until the late sixties. It is rekindled on the eve of Pearl Harbor annually to remember those who died in the attack. This is the story of the Beacon Boys who maintain the beacon and who once a year send its signal across the north state.
Annual run by servicemen from Travis Air Force Base to honor those who have died since 911 in the war against terrorism. The runners take turns running the 150 mile course over three days and through three counties, ending with ceremonies at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
Overview of the Iwo Jima conflict with special focus on Major William "Bill" White (d) and Corporal Frank Wright, two local men who served in the Marines and took part in the attack. Wright reminisces on his actions on the island that day.
