Edgar Nito is a graduate student with honors from the Cinematographic Training Center, where he has directed, written and produced several short films since 2007. In 2010 his short film "Y volveré ..." was premiered at the Sitges International Festival of Spain. He has received an honorable mention at the Lebu Film Festival in Chile, has been awarded the best short film award at the International Film Festival of Guanajuato, the Best Cinefantasy Soundtrack Award in Brazil and the Best Narrative Short Film Award At the Garden State Film Festival in the United States. Participation in international film festivals. Edgar directed the segment "Jarral de Berrios" in the film about Mexican legends and traditions "Mexico Barbaro" that you can watch it on Netflix in several countries. He is currently postproducing his debut film "GUACHICOLERO" and is developing his second feature "Tatewarí". This project won the Bronze Award at the Fantastic Film Fest 2013 in Austin Texas with Elijah Wood and Robert Rodriguez as jurors.
