WARREN FINTZ PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY EPPIXADVENTURES.COM My name is Warren Fintz, I’m a Big Island Photographer and Videographer. Ever since childhood I’ve been fascinated with nature, astronomy, wildlife, oceans, marine biology, geology, and history. Specifically being able to experience rare and unique situations occurring at the right time and place. The elements of our beautiful planet are truly magical and they continue to teach us through the history and documentation of nature. My greatest passion is to capture these rare and extraordinary events in nature as they happen, living it in the moment. Nature and photography drive me and allow me to stay more and more in tune with nature and wildlife as a lifestyle. For me that is priceless. Along my journeys I traveled light but kept extensive, detailed written journals of my experiences, almost to the extent of short stories. As a lava, landscape, underwater and astro-photographer/videographer I've instinctively taken that same approach. From the vast lava fields and rain forests of Kilauea, to the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, to the incredible underwater world and beautiful sunsets, each picture has an adventure and a story to tell. My goal is to tell each picture’s or video’s story as it captures life’s most special moments; it’s to provide a unique portal back in time to the places and events we are most fond of. Additionally it's to share them for documentary and educational purposes to teach the generations to come. Through photography we can re-experience the feelings of our most special moments. We can reflect back on the important places and events that have significant meaning to us as we adventure through life. Photography is one of the best ways to harness our memories. I very much believe it’s about the journey, and living in the moment. This fuels my passion for the beauty of nature as I will always keep adventuring, creating and seeking new stories to tell through my photography and videos.
