She is also a communications consultant for various international NGOs and a part time journalism professor in Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). She previously worked as a photographer for Business World and Agence France Presse (AFP). Her work experience covers a range of projects with media, environmental, humanitarian and government institutions. A graduate of AB Mass Communications from Adamson University, she eventually took her specialization in Photojournalism from the Kondrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism. She also obtained her Master in Communication degree from PUP.
