CIM - Institutional Film 2021
The Industrial Company of Matola - CIM was founded on July 10, 1948 Throughout its operation between the years 1948 to 1980 when the company was intervened by the state, there were several changes that included the installation of corn mills and higher capacity wheat and biscuit factory, candies and chocolates. In 1995, with the privatization of CIM EE, resulted in the creation of the new corporation, the Industrial Company of Matola (CIM) SARL. In 2005, CIM acquired 100% of the shares of CERES and all activities passed to CIM. In 2008, CIM has expanded its activities by acquiring the Factory of Mobeira SARL., based in Beira. With the entry of CIM, this industrial complex was renamed to "CIM Beira Factory", coming to strengthen the capacity of production of corn flour, wheat and various masses. CIM is proud to be the oldest Mozambican food industry that, over several decades and continuous and sustainable manner, has fueled the Mozambican population.
