After graduating from Falmouth University with a First Class Honours degree, he continued to experiment with the moving image. Matthew works as a self-shooting PD and camera operator on a wide range of projects, funding personal documentary exploration with commercial jobs. His documentary projects use poetic narratives to navigate untold stories, while working in a collaborative way with subjects. They have led him to Nicaragua, the Balkans, Greece and around the UK, with the outcomes screening on a number of online platforms and at international festivals.

KWETU is a documentary film about an ambitious new architecture project in rural Tanzania. Through the story of a researcher and a village family, the film explores whether an experimental housing project could combat malaria and other diseases to improve the lives of those living in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This short film follows Marcia a student nurse on the verge of following her dream to become a fully qualified nurse. Commissioned by London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust
