Canadian Cinematographer currently based in Barcelona, Spain.
Eric started working in the film industry in Toronto, Canada in 1993. In 2001 Eric started his career as a cinematographer and steadicam operator, first in music videos, then moving on to tv commercials, and feature films.
In 2008, Eric travelled to Bali, Indonesia for a five month project, shooting a feature length documentary. After the doc was wrapped, he decided to stay on in Asia and moved to Malaysia in 2009.
Since being in Asia, Eric has shot commercials for top Production Companies such as Passion Pictures (Malaysia), Godmother Productions (China), Superwonderful (Malaysia), Planet Films (Malaysia), Gwantsi (China), Playhouse Pictures (Malaysia), Squarebox Films (Indonesia), Biscuit Films (Malaysia), Shoooting Gallery Films (Indonesia), May Production (Vietnam), Film base (Malaysia and Vietnam) and many more. He has shot commercials for clients such as Audi, Coca Cola, Samsung, McDonald’s, Braun, and worked with international agencies such as Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Grey, BBDO, Dentsu, Publicis, just to name a few. After a fruitful seven years in Asia, Eric decided to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.
Eric has also recently shot a segment for BBC One’s Panorama, is an ongoing documentary for Hulu on tennis star Novak Djokivic.
For scripted work Eric has shot 4 feature films in Toronto in the last year (2020-2021).
Eric is an Full Member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC) as well as an accredited member of the Malaysian Society of Cinematographers (MySC). He is well versed in digital (Weisscam, Phantom, RED, Alexa) and film (35mm, 16mm) mediums.
