About
I’m the founder and filmmaker at Alita Films, a documentary production company. As a nonfiction visual storyteller, I create videos for a wide variety of brands, nonprofits, and news organizations. I’m always looking to tell true stories in new ways, from new and previously untold perspectives. I direct, produce, shoot and edit. My work for GE exploring 3D printing won the Best New Artist award at the Tongies. My first feature documentary Waiting for John, about the last surviving Cargo Cult, aired in PBS's award-winning Pacific Heartbeat series and screened in film festivals worldwide. With experience living and working internationally, I am comfortable with complex logistics, sensitive topics, and difficult situations. I’m inspired by the universalities in the human experience, counterintuitive notions, and the beauty found in the everyday.
