I am a documentary photographer and film maker. I have a masters in Social Documentation from UC Santa Cruz where I completed my thesis documentary film about sustainable agriculture in Cuba. I work in this field because I love to interact with people and am encouraged by the possibility of widening perspectives (my own, the participants, and the viewers.) My interests are infinite and my work has ranged from topics of racial injustice, to challenging international aid, to examining sustainable agriculture, and celebrating cultural heritage. I am available for freelance work anywhere in the world as a photographer, videographer, producer, and director.
This video was produced in conjunction with a project called "Not the Other" which aims to increase Santa Cruz community members’ understanding of the daily struggles of those who are experiencing homelessness and to invite community members to think critically about prevailing negative stereotypes.
A look at Cuba’s world-renowned agricultural model through the eyes of two young Haitian agronomist. Follow Ernst Jean-Baptiste and Welbry Delince as they travel through the Cuban countryside interviewing farmers and discovering whether Cuba’s sustainable farming model can be applied in Haiti.
The film was created to document the Global Health Initiative's first summit meeting where they are discussing a new approach to health issues in Guatemala.
Inside the Distance is an interactive documentary about Restorative Justice, an alternative to retributive justice, and punishment.
