I'm Allison Osberg, a multimedia journalist located in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. I started off as a photographer, progressed into video and now dabble in radio as well. I speak fluent French and basic Mandarin and have worked as an artist and journalist in both France and China. I am particularly interested in stories about the environment, globalization and art. I think the purpose of good journalism is to make foreign subjects and places accessible, personal, and meaningful no matter the listener. Video is so integral to the journalistic process because it's capable of communicating the complex, saying 1000 words per picture, 24 times a second.
