About
Highly motivated and experienced cameraman seeking new professional challenges. Born in Zadar, Croatia, in 1985. My passion for video production predates my employment at Digital Film video production company. Since joining Digital Film, I have been actively involved in professional video recording and editing. During my tenure, I recorded and edited news stories for the Croatian national TV channel 'NOVA TV,' filmed the documentary series 'Menus Of The Lost Time' for Croatian national television 'HRT' alongside the renowned writer Veljko Barbieri. I also contributed to a documentary about the National Park Krka, worked on numerous music videos, promotional videos, and played a role in filming and editing Zadar's first feature film 'Little Giant.' After a few years of full-time employment, I made the decision to become a freelancer, relocating to the capital city, Zagreb, to further my professional development. I have since worked for NOVA TV, AL JAZEERA BALKANS, AL JAZEERA ENGLISH and UNA TV. Notably, I found myself twice in the epicenter of major earthquakes that struck Croatia, one in the capital Zagreb and the other in Sisak-Moslavina County. I performed flawlessly during both incidents, capturing astonishing video material. My experience extends to filming various challenging situations such as wildfires, floods, blizzards, protests, and more. I have consistently proven myself as a capable and reliable cameraman. Moreover, I have ventured into crisis areas, including Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Israel and Palestine. With a desire to specialize as a war cameraman, I enrolled in the HEAT (Hostile Environment Awareness Training) course, earning a HEAT certificate. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find relaxation in hobbies such as hiking, caving, climbing, football, and music. These activities not only serve as leisure but also contribute to maintaining a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle.
