Tamale Edmond is a multi award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Kampala and founder of Edcom Filmz Limited, he holds a degree in filmmaking from Kampala Film School. Since 2015, Edmond specializes in production of social, entertaining and commercial stories for both local, international organizations and companies while adopting high end digital technology to provide quality videos that have won awards and nominated in film festivals. ATEKER documentary is his recent project that has won best documentary film at the African Academy Film Awards shorts 2022 and at Pearl International Film Festival 2023. I have produced and shot stories for UNDP, INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANISATION, UNCDF, USAID, THE NETHERLANDS EMBASSY, UGANDA TOURISM BOARD, GOOGLE MAPS, SPARK IO, IFAD, KARATUNGA FOUNDATION, among other organisations throughout East Africa.
