Her reporting has taken her all over the United States and abroad on stories ranging from immigration to the habeas corpus rights of terrorism suspects. She recently executive produced and directed The Peace Studio Presents: Race, Justice, and the Power of Word for PBS's ALLARTS network and was a Senior Producer at the Women in the World Summit in New York City for five years. She has reported, produced, directed, and shot stories for PBS, AL Jazeera English, BBC, and CNN International. In 2008, she was a member of the Emmy-Award-winning four person production team for the story, "Taxing the Poor" on NOW on PBS. Yasmeen is a graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism.
