Gilgal is an Atlanta-focused non-profit that helps women who are homeless because of drug or alcohol addiction. The non-profit provides a residence, life skills and structure that helps them regain control of their lives.
People with developmental disabilities have the same needs as everyone else. With proper supports, they can live in community rather that congregate, institutionalized care homes.
Fitzgerald, GA had no public transportation until the collective voices of those with disabilities spoke up and made something happen
