I am working at "Anadolu agency" And, I was a Freelancing photographer for "AFP", L'Agence France-Presse. and i worked at“Al Masry Al Youm” Newspaper, since 2007. Awards: • The Incentive prize in “Egypt Press Photo 2007” an annual contest held by Egyptian Syndicate of Journalists • Second place in “Egypt Press Photo 2008” • Third place in “Ramadan 2008”, an annual contest held by Egyptian Syndicate of Journalists • First place in “Egypt Press Photo 2009” • Got an "Honorable Mention" and the "Salon Commendation” for Free Photography in the Green Balance Contest 2010 in Serbia. • The "Excellence in Journalism" Award for the year 2010 • Two prizes in Sharijah competition for the best Arabian photo 2011 • First place in "Egypt Press Photo" 2012, Best Documentary.
A multimedia story which I've photographed recently in one of the slums in Cairo called Manshyet Nasser. The story highlights the suffering of children who live in this area through a small swimming pool bought by one of the people who are living there in order to entertain these children who suffer from the deprivation of all the means of entertainment enjoyed by those who are in their age.
