Amanda Kowalski - Director/Producer /Editor West Virginia native, Amanda Kowalski (Forge Photography and Film) is a cinematographer, director, and editor with a background in documentary photography. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, NPR.org, CBS Sunday Morning, National Geographic Online, and Discovery among others. Some of her clients have included Yo-Yo Ma's Silkroad Ensemble, MIT, Harvard University, the American Psychological Association, and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Amanda is also an established musician. Prior to her career in photography and film she toured and recorded with many notable performers including the Grammy Award winning musicians, Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn. Additionally she co-founded the Grammy nominated band, Della Mae.
