B-roll for The Humane Society, documenting the work of their staff on the ground in Nepal, following the April 2015 7.8 earthquake that killed over 9,000 people. The Humane Society sent in a team of veterinarians to help rescue some of the hundreds of thousands of farm animals injured or trapped during the earthquake. Commissioned through Associated Press' Corporate Assignments division.

Among the throngs of rickshaw drivers competing for fares in Phnom Penh, Luka Meas stands out due to his Bronx-accented English. He was deported back to his native Cambodia from the U.S. in 2011. At a time when Trump is calling for immigrants with criminal convictions to be deported, dozens more Cambodian refugees are expected to be deported this year, adding to the nearly 600 deported since 2002.
