About
In 2009, I had the opportunity to attend Stanford University for a fellowship in Innovation Journalism, which enriched my perspective on media. With over 27 years in journalism, I’ve navigated a diverse landscape, focusing primarily on financial and economic issues while also covering political and social developments. Most recently, I served as a Senior Correspondent for BOL Newspaper/Bol News.
My career began at The News International, and I’ve held senior positions in some of Pakistan's leading media outlets. I was the Input Head and Chief Reporter at CNBC Pakistan, and later, I served as the Head of the Business Desk at both Geo News/Geo English and ARY News. My experience spans both print and electronic media, allowing me to contribute to The News International, Daily Times, and the Singapore-based magazine ‘Asian Banker,’ as well as write for BBC Urdu and CNBC Asia.
In addition to reporting, I have a passion for storytelling through video, producing packages as well.
