I'm usually a one man army regarding film making, and used to dealing with all the challenges that come with that. I've worked with the BBC, VOA News and Al Jazeera among other broadcasters , and NGOs including Save The Children, Human Rights Watch and the International Rescue Committee.

In this piece I explored the story of the Yellow House, a bullet-scarred building that encapsulates both the violence and creativity of the city that spawned it. Employing use of a slider and steady cam, I sought to lead the viewer through the building, and in doing so show them the complex modern history of not just Beirut, but Lebanon itself.

This was a simple brief that I tried to make as interesting as possible, including the use of time-lapse.

An idea that I pitched, this focused on Lebanon's only bike courier service. To get the footage I wanted I used my Canon and a GoPro, and worked with those involved in the courier service on ideas for footage. Needing to improvise and keen to catch the motion of the cyclist I also shot from the boot of a car.
