About

First of all, I want to apologize for my poor English. If this text is good, it is because I had help from a friend. My name is Jô Miyagui and I am brazilian. I have been working as a video-journalist for more than 10 years. I did all kinds of reports: about people, tourism, brazilian history, sports, economy, technology, politics, environment, law enforcement, natural disasters, floods, food, drug users and much more. For the last seven years I worked for TV Cultura, the educational television of São Paulo State, in Brazil. Besides being a reporter, I recorded and edited the videos . I like any type of stories, if they are interesting. Human dramas are important for me because we expose real life situations, because it forces us to go out of our comfort zone and allows us to show the suffering that we do not always see. It can also alert and raise awareness of the audience about the world's problems. But I also like happy stories. After all, life and journalism aren't only bad news. The people and the humanitys conquest are also refreshing topics to cover.
