Request QuoteI am a multimedia story teller who has spent seven years in TV, radio, print and online video production. My experiences took me from Shanghai to Chicago, to Washington D.C. and now back to Shanghai, where I started a production company with some friends. My works appeared on American media such as CNN and Military Times, and major Chinese media networks and websites. Mostly I covered education, culture, history and human interest stories. My company in Shanghai aims to dig out interesting human being with amazing skills, creative ideas or untold stories, and then create videos of or for them. In 2013 I graduated from Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, with a master degree in business reporting. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Television from Fudan University, Shanghai, China.
This video is one episode of a documentary series created by me and my partners at our startup production company in Shanghai. This episode tells how human beings build telescopes and use radio observation to explore the universe. The story includes the under-built world's largest radio telescope in a county of China.
This film reveals the struggles of women in China through the voices of nine males, who covered everything from the birth of a girl, to marriage, and to the workplace. This film was created by me and my partners in our startup production company under the invitation from the China's Women's Film Festival. English subtitles were not included in the film but could be provided if needed.
This video is one episode of a documentary series about carpentry created by me and my partners at our startup production company. This non-narration docu-film series linked the traditional Chinese carpentry skills and works to some of the country's cultural customs. In this episode the carpenter created an wooden arena for the traditional Chinese cricket fighting.
This story tells how abacus, the ancient Chinese math skill, helps young people today not only to count, but to think and develop other techniques beyond mathematics.
