Silvia Luzi is a indipendent journalist, copywriter, producer and director. She is professor at the MA Film Studies of Malta University and lecturer in screenwriting and journalism. She was in charge of the Foreign Affairs editorial staff of the main Italian public television RAI, for which she was also correspondent for Europe and Africa. Her documentaries and investigations are broadcast by several tv channels as RAI, The Guardian, PRESS TV; NHK; CURRENT TV; SKY; TV4. As producer, author and director she realized many award-winning documentaries receiving many awards (including the Italian Oscar nomination and New York Filmmaker Prize,). All titles are broadcast by many international tv channels and hosted by the prestigious US George Eastman House's permanent collection. Her first feature film ''Crater'' (Il Cratere) has been premiered at 74° Venice International Film Festival. Crater also got from Tommy Lee Jones the Special Jury Prize at Tokyo International Film Festival.
