"Resilience of Adivasis is a compelling documentary that sheds light on the lives of plain land Adivasis in Bangladesh, navigating the challenges posed by climate change, inequalities, and exploitation. Bangladesh, the world’s largest delta, is one of the most climate-vulnerable countries on earth. The slow onset of climate-induced risks; like sea-level rise, salinity intrusion, drought, an increase of temperature and changes in precipitation; and climate extremes like floods, cyclones, tidal surges, and heavy rainfall are seriously active in Bangladesh. Climate change-induced hazards have grave impacts on ethnic communities’ life, as 100% of, them are dependent on agriculture-based livelihood, predominantly as agri-labourer in agriculture crop production. Increasing agricultural droughts and sea-level rise induced salinity and subsequent maladaptive measures taken by large farmers have serious impacts on the life and livelihoods of the Adivasi living in sea level rise and drought-prone areas in Bangladesh.
