I’m a Zambian journalist currently freelancing for Context News under the Thomson Reuters Foundation. I also write for The Mast Newspaper in Zambia, Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) Afrika, Semafor Africa, Alibi Investigations and New Internationalist UK, among others. My stories have primarily been on grand corruption in the public sector (exposing misuse of public funds), environmental crimes such as mining in national heritage sites and protected areas, and the impact of economic reform policies on locals. In 2017 I was nominated for the Zambian Women of the Year Activist Award, and in 2019 received the Princess Diana Award for using multimedia journalism influentially in my humanitarian work and achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
