I'm an Emmy award winning self shooting producer & director based in New York City, but frequently traveling around the world. I am the co-creator & director of Neighborhood Slice, a documentary TV series that tells the stories of New Yorkers who've held onto their little corner of the city in spite of fast-growing gentrification, currently in its third season broadcast on public television. I've also produced & directed multiple seasons of other TV series and created content for a slew of clients from nonprofits to big brands such as Revlon.

Joe Chirico’s mother, Marietta, opened a dry goods store to supplement the family income during the Great Depression. Today Joe is in his 90s and is still selling socks, underwear and cobbler aprons at the Carroll Gardens storefront.
