Collective Site Management and Coordination (CSMC): CSMC is an approach aimed at supporting high number of refugees who have spontaneously settled in small and scattered settlements across an urban, peri-urban or rural areas. CSMC focuses on managing collective sites through information management, and site management for the response to daily needs by establishing and training refugee-committees for self-reliance.

(DRC) - Hermel Municipality

DRC collaborated with the Hermel municipality on infrastructure, community support projects, and cash for work initiatives with host communities to support the social and economic stability in the area.

Danish Refugee Council Lebanon (DRC) - On Small Shelter Units and Cash for Work

DRC provides refugees, host communities, and other conflict-affected populations with improved living conditions through rehabilitation of substandard shelter units. DRC also implements infrastructure upgrades as Community Support Projects in targeted neighbourhoods. In combination with Livelihood programs, DRC recruits labour for ad-hoc jobs to implement the activities mentioned above to generate short-term-income for communities.
