Three police officers and a civilian were convicted on July 22, 2022, in the murder of International Justice Mission lawyer Willie Kimani, trusted driver Joseph Muiruri and IJM client Josephat Mwenda. Three police officers (Sergeant Frederick Leliman, Stephen Cheburet and Sylvia Wanjiku), as well as police informer Peter Ngugi, were found guilty of murdering lawyer Willie Kimani, Joseph Muiruri and Josephat Mwenda on June 23, 2016. Leliman was sentenced to death, Stephen Cheburet to 30 years, Sylvia to 24 years and police informer Ngugi to 20 years in prison on February 3, 2023. This documentary covers what really happened on June 23, 2016, and the long journey to seek justice for the three.
