Request a demoI’m a professional cinematographer and cameraman with over 20 years of experience in film, documentary, and cultural production. My career began in 2003 with Ramattan Agency in Gaza, where I specialized in war and field reporting before moving into cinema and creative storytelling. In 2016, I received the Best Cinematography Award at the Dhaka International Film Festival for the feature film Sarah (2014). I also co-created the UNRWA TV Channel in Gaza, where I worked until 2016. Now based in Zurich, Switzerland, I collaborate with ARTTV and Brain Hug Film Company, producing and shooting cultural, documentary, and commercial projects across Europe. I bring a strong visual sense, deep storytelling instinct, and technical mastery of lighting, framing, and color. Whether it’s a documentary, fiction film, commercial, or music video, I strive to create visually powerful and emotionally engaging imagery that connects deeply with audiences.

Ibrahim was an amazing cameraman who was very reliable and professional in helping us cover a major summit on AI in Geneva. He managed to man two cameras for our one-on-one interviews at the same time. His technical skills were impressive and he was able to capture the essence of the event perfectly. He was also very easy to work with and flexible, which made the whole process much smoother. I would highly recommend him for any event or project.

The documentary filmmaker Franziska Schaffner accompanies the Swiss psychoanalyst Ursula Hauser and the doctor and president of "medico international switzerland" Maja Hess, who have been traveling to Gaza regularly for the past 15 years. Around 1.9 million people live here, isolated from the outside world for almost ten (sic!) years, in one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Three armed conflicts, with no way for the civilian population to escape, have left not only economic but also deep emotional scars. The two Swiss women support their local colleagues in their therapeutic work and train them in psychodrama, a group therapy method that enables traumata to be processed. In the protected setting of a theater play, the participants free themselves from their role as victims and become active agents of change
A screenwriter and a director are working on a film about Sara, a Palestinian girl in one of Gaza's refugee camps, who is a victim of an "honour killing". The screenwriter is unable to write an ending that is both compelling and fictitious - the happy ending that he had hoped for. Meanwhile, the director, who is insistent on upholding the truth, is as keen to end his film, as he is to help his friend, who is deeply affected by Sara's story. The film presents the different sides of Gaza, whose people are hurt by everyday issues as much as by death.
