Request QuoteLuca comes from a small village in Bergamo province, Italy. He is half Italian and half Ecuadorian. After his Master’s degree, he enrolled in the National School of Cinema, where he explored migration stories across European borders. He participated in the Venice Biennale at the Critics' Week in 2018, with one of his shorts made possible by the collaboration with Laura Poitras and Field of Vision. Currently based in Berkeley, CA, he continues to pursue his passion as an independent filmmaker.

The Santa Candida Roma camp existed for twenty years in a suburb of Bari. After a fire, the camp was completely destroyed. Alisa lived there with her children and with the help of her friend Rosa, from Romania, tries to find a solution to return to Italy and continue sending the children to school.
