Riccardo is an Italian filmmaker based in Barcelona. His education includes a First Class BA in film studies at the University of Tor Vergata (Rome), a MA in filmmaking at NUCT film school (now Rome Film Academy) and a diploma in advanced screenwriting at Tracce snc (Rome). Since the beginning of his career he dedicated himself to learn all the aspects of the creation process, working at numerous independent projects, focusing both on documentaries and fiction. At the same time he realized various commissioned works in his native region, Trentino Alto Adige, in partnership with local companies (Filmwork, Hydrodolomiti, Stradanova Slow Theatre, Iniziative e Sviluppo) and public agencies (municipalities, tourism agencies, BIM). In Barcelona he started his own production company, Stars and bones productions, and he's collaborating on social documentary projects with The Missing City Stars and Extinction Rebellion Barcelona. His documentaries and short films have been selected in numerous festivals around the world.
