About
I'm a cinematographer, editor and motion graphics designer, born and raised in Brazil and based in New York. I've always had a strong connection with music, which led me to tour with bands, taking photos and making videos in the first place. As soon as my first videos were out there I discovered a passion and turned it into my job.
I've worked in several production companies and ad agencies, creating TV series, commercials, films, music videos, and digital branded content. Some of the brands I had the opportunity to work with were Google, Food Network, LG, GM, Duracell, Michelob, Cycle, GE, Samsung among others.
I am also directing a feature-length documentary named "Black Booth", a study of the shift from analog to digital projection in cinemas, from the point of view of the projectionists. This project won the AbelCine Documentary Grant and is supported by the Film Society of Lincoln Center, Film Forum, Museum of the Moving Image, among other prestigious institutions.
I'm passionate about telling the stories of people and places that are out of the ordinary, as well as exploring old things.
