Meri Haitkin has been a key creative on hundreds of hours of content in television, film and digital production as a producer, writer, director, and showrunner. Her specialty is character-driven, nuanced and humanistic storytelling and that’s earned her an Emmy nomination, a Critics Choice Real TV Award, an Institutional Peabody and a Webby. Through this immersive work, Meri has embedded in the worlds of fashion, competitive high school science, haute cuisine, stand up comedy, Spring Break in Cancun, a horse farm in New Jersey, Huda Beauty’s headquarters in Dubai, and an independent wrestling company started by the Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan in Chicago. This has made her a quick study and highly adaptable.
