I am a freelance photographer based in Washington, DC, my home town. From 2014-2019, I was based in Kosovo and covered post-war life, human rights issues, religion, sports, politics, and culture through feature stories and breaking news. I have profiled Kosovo’s first female president for Al Jazeera English, the rise of ISIS fighters leaving Kosovo for Syria and Iraq for Al Jazeera America, shot photos for a travel piece for The Washington Post, and photographed a groundbreaking music festival for The New York Times. I have also reported from Afghanistan, Nepal, Vietnam, Albania and Greece.
