In 2013, Turkey experienced a wave of public demonstrations unlike anything the country had seen in decades. What started as a small occupation to stop the redevelopment of a park drew an aggressive police response, sparking further protests. I co-directed and edited this piece following one year in the life of a young activist in Istanbul during these tumultuous times.
