It took almost one year of highly elaborative work. The movie takes place in a dark, film noir tenement set in the Bronx during the 1950s. The storyline revolves around two mice who are in love. Josephine proves an incredible eye for detail and an impeccable sense for class.
Argentinian production designer, Lucía Carnicero dives into her projects to the point where they become her new reality. For the film "Electric Swan" Lucía had to create numerous interiors for a skyscraper that begins to shake and move. In her words, the surreal drama reflects on social structures - through a big metaphor on the spaces we inhabit from the basement to the top floor.
