Hannah Murren graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2013 with a BA in History. From this she continued on to London where she did a Masters in Film Production at the University of West London. Having been inspired to work in post production she took up a position as an editor in Dopamine productions Amsterdam (http://www.dopamine.it/). Here she was able to work on such projects for Vrije Universiteit, the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and Jason Silva.

I worked with a selection of lectures, interviews and footage of the other events to create an informative and entertaining video. There was a very clear message that needed to be delivered, that of 'exponential technological disruption' and how it will effect everyone's industry.

Vrije Universiteit wanted to create a series of three videos to showcase their humanities department in an effort to persuade more students to choose humanities subjects.

The intended approach was highly specified, all six characters in the video were to appear moving across the floor, one directly after the other. By using certain affects I was able to get the 6 separate characters all moving on the one background. This creates the busy feel of the living room. Fixing the colouring of the individual items in the shot gives the video that final polished look.

The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam commissioned a series of videos interviewing the individual filmmakers who took part in the 2016 festival. The aim for this project was to get an insight into the directors creative process while also promoting their latest work, for release during the festival.
