Local theater production company, Gitana Productions, is staging the play "Black & Blue", about the Michael Brown shooting and sub sequential events. The play will feature actual Ferguson residents. The play is being used as another community building tool to spark dialogue, social change and unity to the greater St. Louis area. This is the first of its kind in the St. Louis region.
"The revolution may not be televised, but it is livestreamed." Livestreamers, citizens who record live action on their camera phones and broadcast their footage live online, have been a vital part of the storytelling of citizen protestors since the early days of Ferguson. The video introduces you to a couple of the people behind the cameras.
