I began my career working for Sky News New Zealand as a video journalist, and over four years with the company I covered everything from politics to sport to a Royal Tour. As a VJ for Sky I worked both locally and internationally - I was sent on assignment overseas multiple times. I'm confident interviewing, scripting, shooting, editing and performing on camera. Since moving to London I've been working for a media company which specialises in technology coverage - so product shots are a must, while I also work as a freelance producer for Al Jazeera. This video was commissioned by Virgin Media through a media agency, targeting customers looking for a mid-range smartphone. Using a variety of lenses I shot all footage of the phone to capture the device at its best; this included controlling the lighting as well. I edited the piece together and liaised with the client until they were happy.

I was commissioned by a London-based start up company called Rota to create an easy to watch, short video for in-house use. Rota shows this video to potential clients to show them how easy it is to use their software. On this project I filmed all the footage (including looking after lighting and sound), completed the edit and liaised with the client until they were happy.

This was the final piece in a six week series of videos I completed for Sky News NZ, following then-Opposition Leader David Cunliffe around New Zealand as he campaigned for the 2014 NZ General Election. I scripted, filmed, presented and rough-edited this video for the 6pm news bulletin.

This video was commissioned by mobile phone company ZTE through a media agency - targeting a younger audience looking to buy a budget smartphone. I wrote the script, secured on-screen talent, contracted another freelance shooter for the outdoor footage, managed production on the day, as well as shot all the on-set device footage - and edited the piece together.
