Hello Storyhunters! 

Happs is a digital startup created by a team of accomplished innovators from journalism, technology, documentary film, news, and international media.   Award-winning journalist Laura Ling, former head of the Vanguard investigative team at Current TV, is our Head of Original Content. David Neuman, former Chief Programming Officer of CNN and President of Programming for Current TV and Channel One, is our Chief Creative Officer.  Mark Goldman, founding president of Sky Latin America, and former Chief Operating Officer of Current TV, is our CEO.  Together and separately, we’ve helped launch the careers of journalists including: Anderson Cooper, Lisa Ling, Mariana van Zeller, Christof Putzel, Adam Yamaguchi, Kaj Larsen, Gotham Chopra, Serena Altschul, Conor Knighton, Tracy Smith, Jason Silva, and others. 

Now we’re creating a network dedicated to live streaming the most fascinating, important, interesting “happenings” going on in our world.  Through 20 min to 1 hour live streams, where viewers can interact with journalists on the ground in real time, we're building an exciting new destination where important stories about the world are being told in the most up-close-and-personal way possible.

I am an independent  photographer and documentarist, i have a great passion for independent journalism and telling stories, the stories of my people are now the most important part of my life.
The stories that i usually work on are about communities in resistance by environmental problems, such as multinational corporations taking over peasant´s land, pollution of air and water, social movements and all those stories mass media usually wont tell.
I also like finding sotries about anonymous heroes, regular people who are able to make great changes in their communities.
It is my passion, and i hope i can share it with your community.
