"Huracándombe: An Exploration of Uruguayan Music and Culture" is a collaboration between the University of Miami's Frost Concert Jazz Band and musicians from Montevideo, Uruguay. Featuring original big band arrangements of traditional, popular, and modern Uruguayan music, "Huracándombe" combines the rhythm of Afro-Uruguayan candombe drumming with the spirit and sound of American big band jazz.
Playtime turns into uncontrolled shenanigans when a young girl discovers rag dolls in an antique chest. For the dolls’ very real counterparts, self-control is out of their hands.
