His last 12 years of work span the genres of commercial script, essay, review, fiction, poetry, mythology, screenplay, documentary, grant writing, and press releases. He has also engaged in curatorial, installation art, and event production practices throughout his career. The unifying motifs of his broad range of work include: the social impacts of belief, the hope in science as a civilizing force, the human saga of experimenting with power distributions in society, and love.

A documentary feature about the darker possibilities of a society living in an era of Post-Truth. A woman is murdered randomly. The criminals are caught and convicted. Her ex-boyfriend goes online, accusing the judge, cops, and her family of conspiring to cause the murder for the Illuminati. His "proof" gains both a wide online following and a rabid defense of the facts from a mysterious group.

A documentary of an oral history the locals of Calayan tell of the American trained Filipino scientist Oliver Carlos who "discovered" a new bird species on their remote island. Giving subjects full authority over the narrative, it traces the nuances of the indigent people's collective mythmaking of the man and his importing a foreign body of scientific policies and domestic land use regulations.
