We created a video of us covering a protest in L.A. where people were attempting to stop ICE from moving more immigrant children away from their parents. A perspective from a photojournalist you don't typically see.
We followed a lead to a story in Tijuana, where a Pastor is a building a community for Haitian refugees who escaped the devastation of the 2010 earthquake. When they were turned away from the United States, and feared being sent back to a country still reeling from the effects of the earthquake, Gustavo gave them hope.
We were asked to cover Arno and Pardeep, and their story of starting Serve2Unite. We shot for 3 days in Milwaukee, and delivered the footage.
