I am currently a college student at Ithaca College and the Photo Co-Editor for The Ithacan. In my work at the Ithacan I have covered a wide range of work, including protests, performances, and sports games.

This was a student protest that took place at Ithaca College on Nov. 11. I took a variety of photos, as well as contributed to editing for both newspaper print and online. I organized our staff photographers into different locations to get the greatest range of photos.

This was a vigil held in honor of Freddie Gray on May 5, 2015. It took place in the center street of the Ithaca downtown area and involved a die-in protest on the street. I went with the reporter and contributed my photos to the article.

This was a Fiber Arts Festival held in Ithaca at the La Tourelle Luxury Hotel. I had heard of the event and wanted to do a photo spread of the event. I spoke with the participants at the festival and did a photo slideshow with brief descriptions.

Students of color held a Black Lives Matter solidarity march in Ithaca that began on The Commons and ended at the Beverly J. Martin Elementary school. I went with two others of my photo staff and photographed the march and the discussion panel.
