About

Basma Bsharat is a passionate advocate for Palestinian rights and education. A Palestinian American who grew up in the diaspora, she has always maintained deep ties to her homeland. Basma graduated from Seton Hall University with an undergraduate degree in Education and a Master's in English. Her dedication to education led her to teach for four years in public schools, where she served a diverse student population and implemented inclusive teaching practices. In her current role as the Palestine Education Director at the Palestinian American Community Center (PACC), Basma leads initiatives to educate and empower the community about Palestinian identity, history, and current affairs.
