Request QuoteI’m a confident and experienced Series Producer, Self-Shooting PD and Edit Producer with credits on some of TVs most recognisable factual and factual entertainment series. In the last 5 years I have worked hard to move additionally into the realms of science programming, taking on shows about Space, Animals and the human face. I script, shoot, sound record, light and direct with confidence, but most importantly am adept at building trust with contributors and talent - helping me to get the most out of them on camera. I am also used to managing large teams and multiple challenging edits. I have experience working across a broad range of genres - encompassing interview, actuality and archive heavy shows. I love variety in the roles and themes of the TV programmes I work on and think this is a long term strength in the skills and knowledge I can apply. Recently I have shot and produced an environmental doc strand for Al Jazeera, a talent led C4 (UK) Science series about the human face, and Series Produced Discovery's high end science series; 'How The Universe Works'. Shooting wise, I have worked throughout Europe and across North America and have been granted an IVisa which runs to 2024.
I helped find, research and write up compelling stories from around that world, where strange events were caught on camera. The brief was to use science to explain what seemed unexplainable. I then travelled across the US to shoot interviews, b-roll and drama recon to bring the stories to life and to bring the compelling 'strange evidence' stories to life. I also edit produced 2x1hr episodes.
I shot, directed and edit produced numerous stories and episodes of Al-Jazeera's flagship environmental series Earthrise, featuring compelling stories from Cameroon, Scandinavia, Italy, The UK and Lebanon.
I oversaw 10x1hrs of varied and complex space science for the Science Channel. The role involved managing a large team, implementing script rewrites, managing schedule, conducting online edits and voice over sessions and helping oversee GFX. The show aims to bring the latest astronomical discoveries to a wide audience, presenting complex science in entertaining and enthralling ways.
